I kind of followed him. I figured there was probably something going on, and since he's, um, not always the most forthcoming person ever... It seemed like a good idea at the time.
[She's not sure what she was expecting to find out he was hiding, she just figured he wouldn't ask for help, but he might still need it. Boy, was she wrong.]
He's hanging around Cellar Door.
[She pauses. This doesn't feel like enough of an explanation as to what Ozpin has been up to. How to put this delicately? At least for Oscar's sake.]

I mean, I know he's lonely and misses Ford, but we gotta do something. This is kind of beyond the normal "I miss my boyfriend" kind of thing.

And of course he's lonely. Going to a Night Walker for some counsel isn't a bad idea, to be honest. We all should visit them from time to time.

You know he's in it for more the challenge and the personality dynamics, right? Seeking counsel really is the most likely reason he's out there.
He's not really the seeking counsel type either though. But even if that's the case, isn't that kind of a reason to be more worried? That he's not really acting like himself? He's been kinda off all month - like, more than most people.

[Oz did ask her questions as well-- but had found her answers to be far from what he was seeking. Perhaps, in a world where they were free from the constraints of the gods, he was feeling a little more comfortable with seeking help.]
Yeah, that's kind of why I followed him in the first place. If Ozpin's in over his head with something, then that's could end up bringing a lot of bad for everyone eventually.
