People from home were always a possibility, just because we've got someone here now, that doesn't change that. It might not even change the odds of it happening again. It's good to be prepared, but we probably shouldn't worry too much over it unless something actually happens. Billions upon billions of people scattered across an unimaginable number of words - still feels like pretty low chances we'll get someone we don't want.
.. I know it's technically right, so why can't I convince my brain of that as well?
[ Ange sighs. It's a little hard to talk about this, especially given the fact that she usually doesn't like even remotely going near the discussion of anything that feels even a little vulnerable.
But she's trying to be better about sharing this stuff, even if it's making her feel extremely dumb in this moment. (And maybe January's effect on her blood is helping push it along a little too.) ]
Maybe it's since I used to have nothing left to lose. And now..
[ Now she has a house full of people she cares about. Now she has a family, tons of friends.
Things don't get scary until there's something actually on the line. ]
Because in a place like this it's pretty hard not to think of all the worst case scenarios?
[Witches from home showing up in Trench definitely feels like the worst worst case scenario possible as far as Ange's world goes. It's no wonder she's so shaken by the idea.]
Now it's not just you you're worried about. You're not going to lose us, you know that, right? If one of the witches from your home shows up, we'll figure it out. In the meantime, try not to let it get to too much, okay?
It's the very moment that Willow says 'you're not going to lose us' that makes Ange stay silent, even for a moment after the other is done talking. It feels like it presses straight down on a sore spot, on a fear that's been brewing inside of her, even though she feels silly for it. ]
