Now that sounds like something I can help with! I'm no Gohda-san, but I can at least cook without making a disaster zone in the kitchen, hehe.
[That laugh is genuine. After a few choice incidents with Jessica and George, Sayo is quite familiar with how awful rich kid cooking can be. Ange being the same only makes sense.
(Will the twinge of pain in her chest whenever she thinks of those two ever go away? Probably not.)]
Ah, what does everyone here do for groceries now that I'm thinking about it? It was... somewhat of an ordeal fetching ingredients from Niijima every week or so. At least now that I live in the big city, I won't have to take a boat ride every time we need eggs.
...then again, all the monsters might be a different kind of inconvenient...
Perfect! Don't feel like you have to compare yourself to someone who we've never met here- We're happy to have you around. Anything that saves us a couple kitchen fires is more than welcome. Not that I have a problem with them but I think it would help a few people from getting heart problems.
[One of Ruby's first texts to Ange was a misfired breakfast call out that included fire. She was really bad at this.]
There's a marketplace not too far off where I normally grab things. We probably should have more coordinated grocery trips but it's a little chaotic here. Mostly because Oscar does a lot of the cooking for us at the moment.
I'm happy to come along though if you need an extra set of hands or someone to fight off monsters-
I'd be happy to take some of the responsibility off of Oscar-san's hands. He seems a little young to be handling meal preparation for all of you, after all.
[Sayo, you're supposed to be barely one year older than him and started work at the mansion when you were "six." You have no room to talk.]
Oh, you are? Were you the one to teach Ange-san how to use that gun... sword? Rapier? Thing?
[Sayo is doing her best not to let the desperation of "please please please teach me too" leak through her voice as that'd conflict with the image of Shannon too heavily, but it's just so darn cool, how can she resist? So Ruby may notice that note of envy anyways.]

I'm kind of a pro at that.

But... I'm sure he appreciates the help and the concern.
[Her eyes go wide in delight at the mention of Ange's weapon.]
Yes- I am. I actually made the weapon too. So you know... If you want one of your own we can definitely look into it.
When it comes to weapons what do you like?
[Ruby can hear that envy and she's more than willing to indulge in it.]

But Shannon doesn't have any interest in combat, so Sayo swallows her enthusiasm despite how bitter it tastes going down.]
None, really. I, um, don't particularly like fighting...
