LESSONS
Ozpin offers combat lessons at Clockhouse. He specializes in swordplay but can teach most melee weapons, is pleased to help students incorporate their magic in melee combat, and welcomes any firearm you can show him. He's extremely versatile in his fighting styles, and is a genuine master in melee. He's decent but not impressive with a ranged weapon.
Lessons can consist of sparring with Oz or his Omen; forms and meditation; stupid parkour (in the forest, on the Clockhouse roof, or throughout Gaze) including challenges like jumping off the clocktower; and lots and lots of theory over tea and cookies. Also, plenty of monster hunting in the forest with Oz ready to step in as needed.
FIGHTING OZ
Since arriving in Trench, Oz has lost most of his own magic, but he's still faster and more durable than any human from Earth. He can tank fatal blows by raising a shimmering green forcefield along his body. In canon, this was a projection of his soul-energy; in Trench, it's composed of glowing Vileblood, and can thus hit characters with disorientation and the smell of flowers.
Oz fights with a cane that has a cutting edge of sharpened antler. He can also call on Tippetarius, a large stag Omen: Tippetarius is strictly Lawful Good and has levelheaded, mild-mannered principal vibes. For an Omen, he is weirdly down chat with other Sleepers, and enjoys physical touch (which makes Ozpin wince and look strained).
CHILD ENDANGERMENT
Oz doesn't intend to get anyone hurt, and he's been chewed out repeatedly for throwing kids off cliffs and rooftops etc. But he is from a wacky shonen world, and he will throw you to the monsters regardless of skill level to see how you do.
