[ By this point, Ozpin is wound tight with quiet frustration. When Glitch appears in the doorway, Ozpin is not terribly surprised; he looks up to meet the boy's eyes, his expression tired where Glitch's is furious. ]
I am sure he has his reasons.
[ This is murmured in the tones of someone being terribly polite when there is nothing more positive to be said. He knows too much about the Doctor to want to make any proper analysis aloud; for Ozpin, virtually everything about the Doctor hits painfully close to home. ]
If I may as much, you do not need his help, regardless. There are others capable of doing the work.
Well, any reason he could give me right now would be fucking garbage after he basically said I brought this on myself.
[ Don't mind him, Ozpin. He'll be loudly indignant if Ozpin is quietly so. He leans against the door frame not intending to stay too much longer than he needs to. But, he looks up when Ozpin says that. ]
That's good enough for me. I'd take anyone's help over his right about now.
You did no such thing. There is no equivalence between verbal provocation and that degree of violence.
[ Unspoken: Ozpin did not consider that degree of violence, and Glitch kicked down his door to throw him around the room. There is nothing that merits an intentional maiming perpetrated upon a boy too young to even be a Beacon freshman. ]
I'm speaking with the General about it, and with Ruby. Once you have healed and are ready to consider it, we should have something prepared for you. [ He gives a wry smile. ] There will be a learning curve, as with any complex tool, but I have seen Huntsmen and Huntresses before you fight at full capacity after an injury like this one. Miss Yang Xiao Long and General Ironwood himself are examples of just that.
[ He grumbles a bit the words muttered 'you're dam right it's not the same'. But, he at least takes some kind of comfort that Ozpin at least agrees with him.
Either way, he looks down to his missing arm with a slight frown still trying not to have the overwhelming awfulness of the situation take over. ]
Yeah, I suppose so...still not quite the same.
[ But, he's not going to mope anymore than he has, he turns his back and gives something of a single handed wave. ]
Anyways, I'm going to go lie down and try not to scream for an hour. No promises though. [ And he leaves. ]
